Many of the lyrics on the album speak of melancholy subjects such as "Virginia Symphony", on the Virginia Tech massacre, "Toxic In The City" on the death of MC Charlie Royal's cousins, and "Saint Andrew's Bridge" on rape.

The video for "Virginia Symphony", the first single, went into heavy rotation on MuchMusic and peaked at second place on Much On Demand’s Daily Top 10.
