Sheikh Jamaal al-Din M. Zarabozo, born 1960Fact|date=June 2008 is a Spanish parented, French-born, and American based Islamic scholar, lecturer, and author of numerous books on Islam and speaker of many lectures on Islam.

He is the Imam at the Islamic Center of Boulder, Colorado Springs.

He has been a regular guest on the Islam Channel.

His first name is also sometimes spelt Jamal, Jamil, Jameel, Jamaal or Zameel and his sirname is often also spelt alternatively as Zarabojo, Jarabojo or Zaraboza.

Background

Zarabozo's family are from Spain and parents are Catholic, although he was born in France.

He grew up in California.

He converted to Islam in 1976 at the age 16.

He is currently working on a book titled, “Jihad and Western Atitude toward War

Education

Zarabozo had studied Economics at the University of California in Berkley and in Davis and holds a Bachelors degree in the same field from Berkley and holds a Master's Degree in the same field from Davies.

He left his PHD studies to pursue Islamic studies, since then he has been active mostly in writing.

He has a bachelors degree in economics from the university of California at Berkeley, and a masters in economics from the university of California at Davis.
