"A luta continua" was the rallying cry of the
FRELIMO movement duringMozambique ’s war for independence. The phrase is Portuguese for “the struggle continues” and was used by FRELIMO leaderSamora Machel as a rallying cry for popular support against the Portuguese colonial presence.
