Cecil Richard Rutt

Cecil Richard Rutt was an Anglican Bishop who held three separate appointments in the second half of the 20th Century [Who’s Who London, A & C Black,1992 ISBN 0713635142] . Born in 1925 he was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge and ordained priest in 1952 [Crockford's clerical directory London, Church House 1975 ISBN 0108153674] . After a Curacy at "St George’s, Cambridge" [ [http://www.chestertonchallenge.org.uk/parish/bul.htm Church details] ] he was to spend a long period in Korea rising eventually to become the Bishop of Taejon before translation to St Germans and then Leicester [The Times, Wednesday, Jul 03, 1985; pg. 4; Issue 62180; col H "New Bishop introduced into the House of Lords"] .
