Iman Raad (PerB| ایمان راد , born
1979 inMashhad ) is agraphic designer , based inTehran ,Iran . [http://imanraad.com/main/index.php?/categories/6-BIOGRAPHY] ] He is known for his design style which is driven by his admiration for functional art, especially the Persian tradition of making tools and ordinary objects more beautiful. His work is inspired byIranian folklore and Such Persian andIslam ic traditional crafts as calligraphy, pottery,weave s, architecture, talismans, religious flags, and posters. ["Area 2", page 309. Phaidon Press, 2007] He is a member of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society (IGDS). His work has been published in numerous books and periodicals including Area 2 (Phaidon) and Young Asian graphic Designers (DAAB).
