Dr. Culpepper was Principal at
P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School inGainesville, Florida from 1935-1938; Principal atLeesburg, Florida 's High School from 1940-1941; Principal atLeon High School inTallahassee, Florida from 1941-1944. He was Dean of Men atFlorida State University from 1947-1954. He left FSU to become secretary and director of theFlorida Board of Control , later known as theFlorida Board of Regents , and was subsequently named the firstChancellor ofState University System of Florida (SUSF) from 1954-1968.
