August 25 ,1985 inPožarevac , Serbia,SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbianpop folk singer. Growing up in the village ofČeterež , she started singing in clubs and at weddings all over Serbia (in order to earn enough money for her family, who had financial difficulties) as soon as she finished her primary school education. During her high school education, she was one of the best students. As a singer
In 2004, she entered the contest called "Zvezde Granda" ("The Stars of Grand"), which is one of the biggest contests for young folk and pop singers in Serbia (the contest itself resembles "Pop Idol"). She came to the semi-final, but did not succeed to reach the final. However, in 2007, she gave it one more try, and that was probably the best decision of her life. She came second in the final, and became one of the most popular Serbian folk singers, although she has released only two songs ("Nikada više" /"Never again"/, on the album of the 12 finalists and semi-finalists of "Zvezde Granda", and "Bole ove usne neverne" /"These unfaithful lips hurt"/, performed at "Grand festival", the biggest festival of Serbian folk music). Both songs have become enormously popular in ex-Yugoslavian countries, whereas "Nikada više" has been declared the song of the year 2007. During one year of her popularity, she went through an amazing physical transformation, and now stands for one of the most beautiful female celebrities in Serbia.
At the moment, she is on tour with 6 other finalists of the contest "Zvezde Granda" (throughout Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Slovenia, Austria and Switzerland). Their concerts attract thousands of young people. Radmila has become famous for her extremely energetic live performances. At the same time, she studies economy in the city of Belgrade and prepares her first album (with one of the most popular Serbian composers, Dragan Brajović Braja), which is to be released in September 2008.
