Scandinavia n dance-pop group Aqua overall, and the first since "Lollipop (Candyman) " (1997) not to be released in theUnited Kingdom . The song more closely resembled their earlier releases, not possessing the slower beat of "Turn Back Time " or the anthemic, orchestral features of "Cartoon Heroes ". Taken from the album "Aquarius", the song was released in several countries in August of 2000, and achieved mixed success. The video for the song was one of five Aqua videos directed by
Peder Pedersen . It parodied the group's status as a 'Barbie band', gained due to the success of their breakthrough hit "Barbie Girl ". It featured the group trying to make a good music video, but being hampered by a poor director, faulty equipment and the weight ofRené Dif being too much for his support rope. The video was featured heavily on MTV Europe's "Comedy Weekend" in 2001.Track listing
