E-Branch Trilogy

The "E-Branch" Trilogy is a series of novels by Brian Lumley. They consist of "Invaders", "Defilers", and "Avengers".

Many years after the death of Harry Keogh, the original Necroscope, a trio of ancient vampires escape to Earth. They think the planet is undefended, and draw up plans of conquest. However, a British ESPionage agency, left over from the Cold War, discovers their existence, and tries to stop them.

E-Branch's main weapon in the fight against the vampires in the past was the Necroscope. However, with Harry dead, they worry about their chance of success. Suddenly, however, a man escaping from a Mediterranean prison is suddenly transported to Harry's old office. It seems he is to be the next Necroscope.

This man, known as Jake Cutter, is the one chosen to hold all the powers of the necroscope, chosen by Harry itself!
