Kingsley Ogwudire

Kingsley Ogwudire (born 1972) is a Nigerian professional basketball player, formerly with the Harlem Globetrotters, Antranik Beirut of Lebanon, Al-Ittihad of Syria and the pre-season camps of NBA teams Golden State and Dallas. At the 1999 All African games hosted by South Africa Kingsley dazzled the crowd and led Nigeria to a silver medal and was named to All tournament team with averages of 18.7 points per game.

In 2000 Kingsley led Club Antranik to 1st ever Championships appearance and 2nd place finish in the league championships to 4 time champion Sagasse Club.

2002 - 2003 As a member of Al Ithad Club, Kingsley led the team to a 2nd place finish in the legue Finals. While with Al Ithad, Kingsley was Named MVP at the Dubai Invitational Championships in a game vs UAE.

At the 2003 African Championships in Egypt, Kingsley was instrumental in Nigeria defeating the host country of Egypt and moving on to finsh 2nd place (Silver) to defending Champion Angola.

Against the host country Algiers at the 2005 African Championships, Once again Kingsley helped Nigeria overcome the odds by defeating Algiers and qualified with a 3rd place finish and Bronze Medal for the 2006 World Championships taking place in Japan.
