Hugh Collins F.B.A. is the Professor of
English Law and Head of the Law Department at theLondon School of Economics . [LSE [http://www.lse.ac.uk/collections/law/staff/hugh-collins.htm staff page] ] He is also the general editor for the "Modern Law Review ", the most widely read British academic law journal. Collins was educated atOxford University (Brasenose) andHarvard University before joining the LSE in 1991.Having pursued earlier research in
contract law , Collins' most recent work has been focussed onemployment law and the possibility of regulating contracts for competitiveness and efficiency.Publications
