Children In Pieces is the title of a song written by Morrissey from his 2008 single All You Need Is Me. It was released as a B-side in June 2008 in the UK on the second CD single from his Greatest Hits album. It was written by Morrissey along with Jesse Tobias, the two being responsible for lyrics and music respectively.

Originally the song surfaced in 2005 as an instrumental demo along with "Get Back To The Ghetto", which eventually became the B-side "Ganglord" to Morrissey's "The Youngest Was the Most Loved" single. "Children In Pieces" was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Oscar and BAFTA winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla, responsible for Brokeback Mountain, Babel and The Motorcycle Diaries. The song received additional production by Jerry Finn, the man behind 2004’s You Are The Quarry.

The song is a commentary focusing on abuse that took place in industrial schools at the hands of members of the Christian Brothers.
