List of Arizona Cardinals head coaches

There have been 36 head coaches for the Chicago, St. Louis, Phoenix and Arizona Cardinals originally of the American Professional Football Association (APFA) now called the National Football League (NFL). The Cardinals franchise originated in 1898, when the Morgan Athletic Club was formed. A few years later, they were renamed the Racine Street Cardinals, after jerseys from the University of Chicago that they used were described as "Cardinal red". They then joined the APFA in 1920 and are the oldest franchise in the NFL.
