Holidays Uncovered

Holidays Uncovered

Description

Holidays Uncovered is the original free resource for travellers offering impartial reviews on hotels and resorts worlwide. There are over 100,000 user reviews captured over the last 4 years mainly focussing on package holiday destinations in the mediterranean. The site is funded by working closely with other travel suppliers like Thomson, Expedia, Thomas Cook, Last Minute.com by providing relevant links from the reviews into websites.

History

Holidays Uncovered was set up back in 1999 by an internet entreprenneur who spotted a gap in the market. Holidays Uncovered was sold to TUI Travel in August 2007 for an undiclosed sum. TUI relaunched the website in April 2008 with a cleaner appearance and a better site strcuture. There has been no obvious commercial favouritism to TUI internal brands since the purchase.
