The 311th Fighter Squadron (311 FS) is an inactive unit that was most recently part of the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. It operated the F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft conducting advanced fighter training.

Mission

History

The 311th also saw combat in Korea from, 10 July 1952–27 July 1953. It trained US and foreign aircrews from, January 1970–1 November 1991.
