Liaoning Province Museum

Liaoning Province Museum (Chinese: 辽宁省博物馆) is a prominent museum of history and fine arts in China. It is located on 26 Shiwei Rd, Heping District of Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province. On November 2 1948, Shenyang was liberated. Upon the approval of Northeast People's Government, it became Northeast Museum, and was opened on July 7 1949. In 1959 it was renamed as "Liaoning Province Museum".
