Georgios Papasideris ( _el. Γέωργιος Παπασιδέρης, born 1876, date of death unknown) was a Greek athlete and weightlifter.
He was born in
Koropi .Papasideris competed at the
1896 Summer Olympics inAthens . He competed in theshot put , placing third. His best throw was 10.36 metres.He also threw the
discus , placing somewhere between fifth and last (ninth) place.In the two-handed weightlifting event, now known as
clean and jerk , Papasideris tied for fourth place withCarl Schuhmann ofGermany . They had both lifted 90.0 kilograms.External links
