Saints & Sinners was an American
jazz sextet founded byRed Richards andVic Dickenson in 1960. The group was initially an impromptu pickup ensemble, but soon became one of the most highly regardedDixieland jazz ensembles of the 1960s. [Bob Weir, "Saints and Sinners". "The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz".] The group toured the U.S. and Canada and did two tours ofEurope in 1968-69 before disbanding in 1970.
