Nakchhong

Nakchhong, the kirat priest.

Nakchhong (नाक्छोङ) is the Kirat priest who performs different Kirat rituals. Some of the materials generally required by nakchong are listed below.

• Aduwa (ginger)
• Pokhemma
• Tupla (cut pieces of banana leaf)
• Chindo(pumpkin like vegetable(kubhindo) container) filled with Jand(rice beer)
