In the flat earth country of Kansas, Benteen County is emptying out, and Sheriff English does his best with a small staff and shrinking budget. He’s helped, if that’s the word, by his part Cheyenne half-brother Mad Dog and two daughters, both named Heather. A rare mix of action thriller, magical realism and hilarious farce.
