Aaron Goulette

Aaron M. Goulette is a Republican political operative from New Hampshire.

Goulette was born in Berlin, New Hampshire in 1980. Goulette is a 2002 graduate of the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.

Early career

Goulette's career began as a field coordinator on the 2002 gubernatorial campaign for former U.S. Senator Gordon Humphrey. Sununu and Governor Jeanne Shaheen.

2004 election

In 2004 Goulette assumed the position of New Hampshire 72 Hour Director for the Republican National Committee. Following President George W. Bush's victory in November 2004, Goulette transferred to the public liaison division of the 55th Presidential Inaugural Committee in Washington, D.C.

2006 election

In March 2006 Goulette, along with former congressman and former state supreme court justice Charles Douglas III, formed the Property Protection Alliance PAC. City of New London the PAC was formed with the intention of amending the state's constitution to grant further protection to property owners against eminent domain seizures. Goulette and Douglas coordinated a campaign to successfully pass the Constitutional Amendment resolution through the New Hampshire House of Representatives by a significant margin. 2008 New Hampshire Primary and after

In January 2007, Goulette was hired as a staffer on John McCain's New Hampshire primary campaign. [ [http://www.gwu.edu/~action/2008/mccain/mccainorgnha.html John McCain-NH Organization ] ] Following McCain's victory in the January 8, 2008 New Hampshire primary, Goulette traveled with the campaign to help coordinate Get-Out-The-Vote efforts for the South Carolina Primary on January 19 and the Florida Primary on January 29. Goulette then traveled to West Virginia to assist with the campaign's efforts leading up to and during the West Virginia Republican Convention on February 5, 2008.

Non-political work

In 2003 Goulette served as Litigation Support Director for the law firm of [http://www.nhlawoffice.com Douglas, Leonard and Garvey] in Concord, N.H. Goulette coordinated research and courtroom presentations for a seven week jury trial, Longden v. Phillip Morris.

In 2005 Goulette was also employed with the Douglas firm as Senior Project Manager. Goulette helped the firm recover nearly $5 million on behalf of several thousand New Hampshire consumers in several large class actions involving the banking and insurance industries.

Personal life

Aaron Goulette resides in Manchester, New Hampshire. He is an avid runner and participates in several 5k road races each year. Goulette is a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, an honor given by former Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher and Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson for his efforts to enrich the lives of Kentuckians and the world at large.

Goulette has a very large collection of cardigan sweaters, and is a local fashion magnate in the Greater Manchester region. He enjoys ninja movies and performing karaoke to popular 1980's hits. Aaron Goulette is also skilled at air guitar.
