Francis Perrin (actor)

Francis Perrin (born 10 October 1947, Versailles, France) is a French actor, scriptwriter and film director.

He was taken on by the Comédie-Française in 1972, for whom his roles included "Les Fourberies de Scapin" by Molière. He headed the Théâtre Montansier in his birthplace from 1992 to 2000. In April 2007, he was made an Officier de la Légion d'honneur.

Francis Perrin is not to be confused with the recurring character of Francis Veber, François Perrin / François Pignon. Francis Perrin co-wrote "Le Débutant" (1986) as well as playing François Veber in it, and also played the role of François Pépin in "Ça n'arrive qu'à moi".
