Gola Dhoro

Gola Dhoro is a small archaeological site within the Indus Valley Civilization, near Bagasra in Gujarat, India. [ [http://antiquity.ac.uk/Projgall/bhan/index.html "A Harappan trading and craft production centre at Gola Dhoro"] ] It was hastily abandoned for unknown reasons. The site contains a small fortified area with living quarters and manufacturing sites both inside and outside this area.

The site is believed to date from 2500-2000 BCE. Shell bangles, copper and beads were found on this site. [ [http://www.harappa.com/goladhoro/ Gola Dhoro archaeological site] ]
