- Yan Xuetong
Yan Xuetong (Chinese: 阎学通;
Pinyin : Yán Xuétōng; bornDecember 7 ,1952 inTianjin ,China ) is the Director of the Department of International Relations atTsinghua University . Yan received his Ph.D of political science fromUniversity of California, Berkeley in 1992. He is the author of several influential books including "Analysis of China’s National Interests". Yan has been considered as one of the most important international relations scholars in China. In 2008, Yan was named as one of world's Top 100 public intellectuals by American journalForeign Policy .External links
