Dji Dieng (b. July 13th) in Thiès, Senegal is a French supermodel.

Early life

Dji Dieng was born in Thies (Senegal) and was raised in Senegal, France and United States of America. Dji got into the modeling industry when she was discovered by a talent agent in Paris.

Career highlights

Dji moved to Paris and Milan, where she learned Italian language perfectly and later moved to New York City. In her early career stage she signed with Metropolitan. She then moved to Paris, to further her career. She also appeared in music videos with Supermax.

Magazines and newspaper around the globe GQ, La Repubblica, Metro and Madonna, qualify Dji as one of the few, true supermodels and new Naomi Campbell.

Dji's role as Goodwill Ambassadress for the UNESCO Children Villages and UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka is exemplary, and her further social engagements as icon for the HIV Prevention and Breast Cancer Prevention are honored with the AWARD FOR HUMANITY 2007.
