Lieutenant Rolf Mützelburg (23 June 191311 September 1942) was a famous Kapitänleutnant with the Kriegsmarine during World War II. He sailed with the U-203, sinking twenty-one ships on seven patrols, for a total of 83.284 tons of Allied shipping.

On 11 September 1942, during his last patrol which began on 27 August 1942, Mützelburg went for swim. Mützelburg dove into the sea from the conning tower, striking the deck and breaking his neck.
