Edwin E. Smith

Edwin E. Smith (born in 1968 [As cited in the about the author page of "One Stranger to Another".] ) is a minor American poet. The Author of two published collections, "One Stranger to Another" and "Little Rock, 2005 [Bronze Medal in 2008 Independent Publisher Book Awards. Announcement made [http://www.independentpublisher.com/article.php?page=1231 here] ] " a sequence of 500 haiku, he is not well known to the general public although he has some fans in the literary establishment. He is a distinctively Southern poet though not in keeping with the traditions of the Southern Gothic school. Rather his work, chiefly lyrical poems, applies many of the lessons of his pastoral antecedents to more citified locations.
