"Fantasy Black Channel" is the debut album by Castle Donington fourpiece Late of the Pier, released on Parlophone Records.

In May 2008 the band announced the album's title via a Myspace bulletin; it was released on August 11, 2008.

It reached 28 on the UK Album Chart.

Recording

The album was recorded in early 2008 with Erol Alkan reprising production duties, having already produced the earlier singles Bathroom Gurgle and The Bears Are Coming.

Late Of The Pier took a break from recording in February to embark on a headlining UK tour, previewing some new material.
