Alianore was born on
27 March 1345 atLittle Easton ,Essex ,England . She was the only surviving child of SirJohn de Lovayne , of Little Easton, Broxted, Essex, and Bildeston, Suffolk, [thePeerage.com page 13991] and his wife, Margaret Weston. Her paternal grandparents wereThomas de Lovain andJoan de Basing . Her mother was the daughter ofThomas Weston . Shortly before her second birthday on30 January 1347 , her father died at Bildeston, leaving Alianore as the sole heiress to his many properties in the counties of Essex and Suffolk. [Burke's Peerage,1746,10484] She had an elder sister Isabel who is presumed to have died in early infancy. In 1359 [Burke's Peerage,Baronetage and Knightage,107th Edition,volume 1, page355] at the age of 14, Alianore married Sir William Bourchier (1330-1375), the son ofRobert Bourchier, 1st Lord Bourchier and Margaret Prayers. The couple had a son,William Bourchier, Count of Eu (1386-28 May 1420 . [Brian Tompsett] He marriedAnne of Gloucester ( April 1383-16 October 1438 ) in 1405. William was Anne's second husband. They had five children, one of whom was the CardinalThomas Bourchier . [Tudorplace.com.Bourchier.] He died atTroyes ,France while in the service of King Henry V. Through her son William, Alianore is the ancestress of the notorious 16th century heiressAnne Bourchier, 7th Baroness Bourchier [Tudorplace.com.Bourchier] , sister-in-law to Queen-ConsortCatherine Parr [Anthony Martienssen "Queen Katherine Parr",p.39] .
