Frank Pierpoint Appleby is a former provincial level politician from
Alberta, Canada. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Albertafrom 1971 to 1986.
Appleby enlisted in the
Royal Canadian Air Forceduring World War II. He attained the rank of Sergeant and ran in the 1944 Alberta general election service men vote. Appleby would return to politics by running as a Progressive Conservative candidate 27 years late in the 1971 Alberta general election.
