single 3 date = 2003 "Take This to Your Grave" is the debut release from Fall Out Boy on Fueled by Ramen (second full-length in total), released on May 6, 2003. The album title is taken from a line from the lyrics of "The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes", which reads "Take this to your grave, and I'll take it to mine".

Album information

After the initial release, a limited edition 12" vinyl copy of "Take This to Your Grave" was released. In addition to the regular album tracks, it also had a special dance remix to their hit song, "Grand Theft Autumn". The vinyl was limited to one pressing of 500 copies of a green camouflage version, and one 500 copy pressing of a black vinyl version. Both versions also came with six giant trading cards. After that, it was re-released again on January 25, 2005 as "Take This to Your Grave: Director's Cut", which included two bonus tracks as well as bonus footage.

"Calm Before the Storm" was re-recorded for this album. An earlier version was featured on their first album, "Fall Out Boy's Evening Out with Your Girlfriend".

The album has gained somewhat of a cult following after Fall Out Boy signed to a major label.
