College Newspaper Business & Advertising Managers

College Newspaper Business & Advertising Managers (CNBAM) is a professional organization for students and advisers working with business and advertising departments in college and university newspapers across the United States.

The organization has approximately 125 member schools.

Training and professional development seminars as well as discussions about current issues facing student-run media occur at its annual national meeting.

History

CNBAM began in 1972 with a small group of schools meeting in Chicago, Illinois each spring to share their knowledge of the college newspaper business. CNBAM incorporated in Texas in 1982.
