Andreas Gripp (born 1964) is a
Canadian poet .Born in
London, Ontario , he entered the literary field aseditor andpublisher of "Afterthoughts", a poetry journal that existed from 1994 to 2000. His firstchapbook appeared in 1999 and his first full-length collection in 2001. His early work was oftenprose -laden and focused on social issues as well as the lives of marginalized, fictionalcharacters . His later releases, including 2007's "Angel Clare" and 2008's "Beads on Blossoms", focused on personal relationships and human interraction with nature, many of the poems written in a metered narrative. His work has also appeared in severalanthologies and literary periodicals, including "Only the Sea Keeps", "Van Gogh's Ear", "Ascent Aspirations" and "The Literary Review of Canada". He was a long standing member of the London Chapter of theCanadian Poetry Association .Books
