The Vidharba Cricket Association Ground is a Test cricket ground in the city of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. The ground is known as the VCA Ground. The first match was played here on October 3, 1969. The ground has been selected to host 2011 Cricket World Cup matches.
It is one of the two grounds where play was called off due to dangerous pitch conditions.
The ground belongs to the Central Zone.
Sunil Gavaskar scored his only one day century here against New Zealand in the 1987 Reliance World Cup.
In 1995, during the 5th ODI between India and New Zealand, a wall in the East Stand collapsed, killing 9 people and injuring 70 others. New Zealand won the match.
