John Prichard

John Prichard (May 6 1817 - Oct 13 1886) was a Welsh architect of the neo-Gothic style. ["The Welsh Academy Encyclopaedia of Wales". ISBN 9780708319536] John Prichard was the son of Richard Prichard a rector from Llangan, Glamorgan and was born on the 6th May 1817. Between 1852 and 1863 he set up a partnership with John Pollard Seddon. Many of his major commisions were restoration works, most famously for Llandaff Cathedral (1843-69), and after Prichard's death on the 13th October 1886 he was buried on the south side of the cathedral.
