The lyrate asiatic hard clam, Meretrix lyrata, or simply hard clam (Vietnamese: Nghêu Bến Tre), is a bivalve mollusc distributed along the coasts of Vietnam, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Southern China.
Culinary use
In Vietnam, hard clams are eaten boiled, steamed, or roasted. They are an important export in the eastern and southern parts of Vietnam[1].
