Jason Love (humorist)

Jason Love is a humor columnist. Most of Jason’s work is available over the Internet on [http://www.jasonlove.com Jason’s web site] . Jason also self-syndicates some of his work to many web sites and newspapers around the world. Print newspaper syndication includes the St. Petersburg Times, The Denver Post, The Arizona Republic, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, and others. This work includes the following features:

:"Snapshots the Cartoon": This is a daily cartoon. The cartoons are created and written by Jason Love. However, the cartoons are physically drawn by [http://www.jasonlove.com/bonus-humor/cartoonist.aspx Vladimir Stankovski] in Serbia."Editor & Publisher" magazine, “Getting the Picture with Video Columns,” August 2007, page 78.]

:"So It Goes": Published approximately biweekly, these humor columns point out funny situations in everyday life. Each column contains the phrase “So it goes,” a tribute of sorts to Kurt Vonnegut. "So It Goes" won Second Place in Humor in the June 2007 National Society of Newspaper Columnists competition. (First Place in Humor went to W. Bruce Cameron, best-selling author of "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter.")

:"Funny Pictures": These are real-life photographs taken of everyday things. The combination of the photo and a caption which Jason adds leads to an amusing image.

Jason Love is also on the staff of "The Ventura County Star" newspaper (part of the E. W. Scripps Company), where he does a weekly video column called "Canned."

In 2008, Jason self-published a book of his "Snapshots" cartoons entitled "Snapshots: The Big Picture."

Jason currently lives in Port Hueneme, California. He frequently does stand-up comedy at clubs in the Ventura County, and Los Angeles, California areas.]
