Feridoun Jam

Feridoun Jam Persian:فريدون جم (born 1914 in Tabriz, Iran; died 2008 in London, England) was a senior Iranian army official and the son of former Iranian prime minister Mahmud Jam. He married Princess Shams in 1937 and was later divorced after the 1944 death of Reza Shah. Jam served as head of the Iranian Imperial Army Core from 1969 to 1971. He left the army because of professional conflicts with Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and retired in 1973.
