Johan Wilhelm Rangell

Johan Wilhelm Rangell (born in Hauho on October 25, 1894; died March 12, 1982 in Helsinki) was a Finnish Prime Minister who served from 1941 to 1943. He was an economist with little political experience at first. That stated he is known for refusing a Nazi proposal to transport Finnish Jews to Poland. He also defended the occupation of East Karelia.
