The Oxfam Glamour Models

The Oxfam Glamour Models were an indie rock band from Middlesbrough in the North East of England. They signed to Marquis Cha Cha records in 2006.

Their first single "Kick out the grams" sold out in one dayFact|date=May 2008, was an "NME" single of the weekFact|date=May 2008, and named in both "Artrocker" and Playlouder's top 50 singles of 2006Fact|date=May 2008. Following the singles success the band embarked on a lengthy tour of the UK with label mates Bromheads JacketFact|date=May 2008.

Having appeared on the cover of both the "NME" and "Artrocker" in the summer by the November 2006 they released the follow up to "Kick out the grams", the Jonathon Ross referencing "8 cans yeah" which, although gaining favourable reviews, was considered poor in comparison to the success of the firstWho|date=May 2008.

Following a year of line up problems and lost momentum The Oxfam Glamour Models split in December 2007.
