Rumat al-Heib ( _ar. رُمة الهـَيـْب; _he. רומת אל-הייב) is an Bedouin village in northern Israel. Located near
Nazareth in theLower Galilee , it falls under the jurisdiction ofal-Batuf Regional Council . In 2006 it had a population of 1,600. tribe , and was originally named after the family. The current name was adopted in 1968.There have been tensions between the village and the nearby
