"Heat" is a novel written by Mike Lupica and published in 2006. The story is about a young boy named Michael who is an unbelievable baseball player. But there is one problem, other coaches from other teams say that he is too good to be 12 years old. With no parents, and his birth certificate is back at his native home, Cuba. Michael will have to somehow prove it and get his team to the Little League World Series if he ever wants to see his beloved Yankee Stadium.

He ends up staying with his brother and being Little League World Series champion. This book does not stink!!! When he got older he changes his name to Alex Rodriguez and now plays for the New York Yankees.
