Alasdair Webster

Alasdair Paine Webster (born 12 February 1934) is an Australian politician. Born in Maitland, New South Wales, he attended the University of New England before becoming a teacher and a superindendent at juvenile rehabilitation centres. He underwent military service in 1953. In 1984, Webster was elected to the Australian House of Representatives for the seat of Macquarie as a member of the Liberal Party. He held the seat until his defeat in 1993.
