The site operates a searchable database of recent takedowns by YouTube, such as terms of use violations, andDMCA takedown s sortable by the demanding party, generated by software which scans YouTube for unavailable videos. The site is operated by a Free Culture group atMIT , and its source code is licensed under theGNU Affero General Public License .
