[Stobaeus . "Sermones", 42.] The name seems to describe Zeus as the leader and ruler of men, although others think that it is synonymous with another epithet of Zeus: Agamemnon. Agetor was also an epithet ofApollo , although some writers, such asPeter Elmsley , think this epithet was not "Agetor" but "Hagetor" (polytonic|ἁγήτωρ). [Euripides .
