- Henk Peeters
Henk Peeters (1925) is a Dutch artist. He was part of the
ZERO movement.Peeters studied Fine Art at the Koninklijke Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague and taught from 1957 until 1972 at the Art Academy in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
Together with other Dutch artists, such as Jan Henderikse, Armando and Jan Schoonhoven, in the 1960s, Peeters forms the NUL movement. This movement opposed to the Cobra movement and wanted objective art, art that was parted from any emotional value. Later on, the NUL movement connected to the international movement
ZERO . Amongst others,Lucio Fontana ,Piero Manzoni , andYves Klein were part of this group.Since 1958, Henk Peeters exhibits his work, mainly in group exhibitions, both nationally as well as internationally.
In 2007 he took part in the symposium "
