Kevin Taylor (born 15 September 1958) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for South Melbourne and Fitzroy in the VFL during the 1980s. He also had a successful career with WANFL club East Fremantle.

Taylor was a rover who could play in the forward pocket. He won a Simpson Medal for his performance in the 1979 WAFL Grand Final, when he kicked 7 goals, including his 100th for the season. His goalkicking in the home and away season that year earned him earned him the Bernie Naylor Medal and he finished the season with 102 goals.

In 1981 he moved to Victoria and spent a season with South Melbourne. He kicked 24 goals from his 14 games which included a bag of five against North Melbourne at Arden Street Oval. Fitzroy acquired his services in 1984 but he managed just the one game.

He was an Western Australian interstate representative in both 1982 and 1983, gaining All-Australian selection in the latter year.
