Viktor Bortsov

Viktor Andreyevich Bortsov ( _ru. Виктор Андреевич Борцов, June 14, 1934, Orenburg, USSRMay 20, 2008, Moscow, Russia) was a Soviet/Russian theatrical and cinema actor. He was a People's Artist of Russia.

Viktor Bortsov was best known as "Savva Ignatevich" in the 1982 film Pokrov Gates (Pokrovskiye vorota, _ru. Покровские ворота).

He died at 73, after a long struggle with intestinal cancer. [http://www.gmanews.tv/story/96284/Ka-Bel-declared-dead-due-to-severe-head-injuries] A civil funeral was held at the Maly Theatre, Moscow on May 23, 2008. He was buried in Troekurovo Cemetery in Moscow.
