Leslie Berlin is the Project Historian for the
Silicon Valley Archives atStanford University . Her research interests include the history of thesemiconductor industry inSilicon Valley and the role of leadership in high-tech business. She received her Ph.D. in History from Stanford in 2001 and also holds a B.A. from Yale. She attendedHolland Hall School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she grew up.Berlin's first book, "The Man Behind the Microchip:
Robert Noyce and the Invention of Silicon Valley", is a biography of inventor-entrepreneur Robert Noyce.She lives in
