He played for Sweden's national junior team at the1982 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships , and was drafted in the 11th round of the1982 NHL Entry Draft by theBoston Bruins . He played for AIK in the Swedish elite leagueElitserien for five seasons before joining the Bruins for the 1987–88 season. Lehman played 9 games for the NHL club, and 26 games the following season but spent most of those two years playing for the Bruins' minor league affiliateMaine Mariners . He was traded to theEdmonton Oilers before the 1989–90 season, but played in only one game for the club. Lehman played in 19 regular season games and 6 playoff games for theCape Breton Oilers before returning to Sweden. Lehman played for seven more years in the Elitserien, mostly for AIK, but also for MODO for one season andSödertälje SK in his final season before retiring in 1997.References
